about

Fika pronounced [fee-ka] translate as coffee break but it’s much more than that. It’s an important part of Swedish culture, a daily ritual, it’s an attitude.

It means to take time to enjoy a cup of coffee and a little something to eat. It’s about slowing down and finding time, set aside a moment for quality time.

Fika can happen at any time, morning as well as evening. It can be savoured at home, at work or in a café. It can be with colleagues, family, friends, or someone you are trying to get to know.
Something sweet to eat along side the drink is crucial, cinnamon buns, cakes, biscuits even savoury bites like open faced sandwiches all pass as acceptable fika fare.

[fee-ka] started as Beans & Greens a pop-up juicebar in Kingston Upon Thames in 2016 a one man’s dream to leave the daily grind of the City desk job and follow his passion for a healthy lifestyle.
Since then the name has changed but the passion to create the best possible flavours by using natural and nutritious ingredients remains the same.
